CIS Approval !!!!!!
We got our approval letter from USCIS (Immigration)!!!! Hooray! We've been in the Bahamas and Orlando for the last 2 weeks. It was SO fun! The kids loved the beach and Sea World and Disney! And now we come home to such great news. We will have our Dossier together and ready to be sent to Serbia by Tuesday. Hopefully the wait will not be TOO long now. I am definitely optimistic about getting Max before Christmas!

Congratulations!!! Once your dossier is over there, you will travel SOON. I wish you all the best on your adoption journey. Our 8yo son is from Serbia and been home 2.5 years now. You'll love it there.

Congratulations! I think your soon to be new member looks a lot like your angel #1! May I ask what happened with him, angel #1. I read that he passed after complications from surgery. My son just passed from complications from heart surgery, and I would like to know others out there that have suffered the same type of loss. Tanya
Hi Tanya- Our first son was born without an esophagus. He had 15 surgeries in a year. It basically destroyed his immune system. When we did his one year immunizations, it was too much for his body. He quickly became sick and died of pneumonia. Obviously, we did not know his immune system was SO compromised. He was 13 months old. I am so sad to hear of your son. It is just so devastating, isn't it? It's something you never think will happen to you! We just have to keep our boys lights burning bright and continue to teach others what they taught us---love!
