2nd Wednesday in Serbia

Yes, more cute pictures! I'm telling you this boy is CUTE! We still did not get the papers signed by the Minister today. He is now in Belgrade though, which is good. We should know early in the am if we are traveling tomorrow. Everything must go as planned or we will not be home until next week. I HATE that because Tia is counting the days until we are home and it will be sad for her if we don't make it on the day we promised. Labor is hard and painful and adoption is slow and stressful. Either way, you must sacrifice something. I guess that is what makes it that much sweeter in the end. We will let you know how tomorrow goes.

So true, but I only know what I've witnessed of labor! I can certainly agree with the adoption part! :)

I hope you are able to wrap things up tomorrow and Friday, but will pray that it all happens in God's perfect timing.

Hang in there, and thanks for the pictures. He certainly is a cute boy!

He is adorable. I found your blog looking for current translations if possible about down syndrome in serbian - My family is serbian (me and my sisters are first gen born in the states) and I gave birth in august to my first son, Oliver, who has down syndrome (we found out at 18 weeks). Its been a challenge trying to explain this to my mother. Do you happen to have anything they gave you?

Nada-
First of all, congrats on Oliver!!! I am sorry, they did not give me anything in Serbian. In fact, I'm the one who brought them lots of literature but it was all in English. I also looked for Serbian literature but didn't find anything. There is not much education there on DS. It is wonderful you kept Oliver!
