My Family

This is our Christmas card photo. It was a bit windy that day but it turned out great. Can you believe that was taken in December? Welcome to AZ. We have to drive 2 hours north to play in the snow but I don't mind a bit. No shoveling driveways or getting my car out of a snowdrift. What's the flip side? Well, summers of 110+ Oh well, that's what pools are for. =-)

WOW Shawnie! What a beautiful picture! How in the world did you get both of your kiddos to look at the camera AND smile at the same time? Too cute!

You guys look great! Wish we were there. We are in the snowdrifts. Any word on Max? Soon you will have to take a new family picture to include your newest member.

You have a beautiful family Shawnie! I also have 3 with DS but my sons are not all biological. I have one bio, one adopted and one adult foster son. I can't wait to read little Max is home with his new beautiful family. What a lucky little man!! Kristi Kraft

You have a very beautiful family! I too am the biological mother of three Down Syndrome kids! God has really blessed us tremendously! They have brought us so close as a family! My husband, Mike, is 100% supportive as a husband and father. I think it's awesome that you are adopting Max. We lift you in our prayers daily!! I left you a note on the multiples DS site. I'd love to hear from you again. There is one more woman in Canada that has three biological DS kids, but I've never connected with her. Take care and God Bless you all!
